Our farm is situated on 20 acres of wooded property in Southeastern Wisconsin. Our emus enjoy 3 acres of forest, providing them with enough room to roam freely and develop their own natural territories. They have access to two enclosed shelters for harsh winter weather. Their habitat includes a large pond which they enjoy using to cool themselves in hot weather. They receive expert veterinary care and receive annual vaccinations. They are raised without any antibiotics or hormones. Our birds were hand-raised and are very friendly. They enjoy lots of attention and love being fed grapes and engaging with people. We believe happy birds are healthy birds.
Emusing Farm is owned and operated by Keith and Meagan George. Their mutual love for animals has brought them to build what was at first a hobby farm and is now a budding business.
Over the years we have added more and more animal family members to our farm. We also care for horses, ducks, chickens, dogs, bee hives, and a goat named Hank.
